Great news! The Racelogic Video VBOX can now be used in conjunction with LabSat to record video at the same time as the GPS RF data is being recorded. Then, during playback, the video is automatically syncrhonised with the GPS RF data, allowing a unique insight into the conditions which occurred during the test. Very easy to use, all you have to do is to place the Video VBOX in the test vehicle at the same time, and everything else is taken care of in the replay software.

Racelogic has launched a range of interface modules, to enable external data to be converted into a form that can be synchronised and recorded along with GPS data.  The new serial interface modules allow customers to record data from an external sensor whilst simultaneously recording the GPS RF signal.

The interface module converts the external serial data into a digital waveform, which is incorporated into the GPS data and recorded at the same time.  On replay the digital data is converted back, and replayed synchronised with the GPS RF data to within 60 nsecs.  The interface modules are baud rate independent and so no additional software or set up is required.

Three Interface Modules are now available:CAN, RS232 and RS422 / 485
